Replacement Theology

What is the relationship between Israel and the Church? An issue of great significance has sprung up in modern times concerning the question of the Church's relationship to Israel. Some solutions to this problem have been categorized unfavorably with the term "Replacement Theology" because they seem to suggest that Israel's covenant relationship with the Lord is replaced by the Church.

What is the Church's relationship to Israel? Does it replace Israel in the Lord's covenant relationship? How does Israel in turn relate to the Church according to Scripture? Is there a relationship between the two entities, Israel and the Church, or are they almost mutually exclusive entities as some dispensationalists seem to suggest? Some solutions seem to indicate the Church has actually replaced Israel in a covenant relationship with the Lord.

The Apocalyptic Rapture Exodus makes some unusual observations which may startle both sides in the debate concerning Israel and the Church.
