The Rapture
The Rapture is the supernatural rescue of believers from earth by the Messiah. Several Rapture views exist which are commonly identified as the pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib, pre-wrath, and partial rapture views. Some skeptics of the supernatural may be inclined to view the Rapture almost as a modern invention of theology resulting from unbalanced thinking by people in recent centuries about Bible prophecy. While the word "Rapture" as applied to the particular event which it denotes may be of modern popular usage, the event itself has been discussed from the earliest centuries of church history, and was foreshadowed by Elijah's translation and the supernatural Red Sea exodus by Israel.
The Planetary Exodus examines some of the actual words of early church leaders as they relate to the biblical event which is today called the "Rapture." The actual statements by early church leaders have often been considered to be deficient or even intellectually or theologically immature or inferior. This volume examines statements by some early church leaders in a new light, and suggests that a few extremely perceptive comments may have been underestimated.
The Apocalyptic Rapture Exodus examines an early pre-tribulational Rapture reason which may actually backfire. That analysis should be an eye-opening event for anyone concerned about the actual time for the Rapture.
