The Antichrist

The Bible predicts the coming of a world leader who is called in Greek "Antichrist." The Greek term may be misleading, because the Hebrew word for "Christ" is "Messiah." An understanding of the Jewish origin of the Scriptures reveals that what the Bible actually predicts is an "Antimessiah." This will be a false Messiah who may evidently not only attempt to impersonate the predicted Messiah, but who will also attempt to oppose Him.
